Privacy Policy

What the app collects

Nothing. Walk records, photos, and tags are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. SF Stairways does not operate any servers or databases that receive or store your personal data.

iCloud sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your data syncs across your Apple devices via Apple CloudKit. This sync happens entirely within Apple's infrastructure. SF Stairways has no visibility into your iCloud data and cannot access it.

Optional account (Sign in with Apple)

Sign in with Apple is available for future features. If you choose to sign in, authentication is handled by Supabase. No personal data beyond the anonymous token provided by Apple is stored. You can use the app fully without signing in.

Analytics

None. There are no tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or third-party data collection of any kind in SF Stairways.

Photos

Photos you take or add within the app are stored locally on your device. The app may save photos to your Camera Roll via Apple's Photos framework. No photos are uploaded to any server operated by SF Stairways.

Children

SF Stairways does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change meaningfully, this page will be updated with a new date. We will not begin collecting data without updating this policy first.
